Absolutely fantastic 7 night stay here in September. Idyllic views, luxury feel to the hotel, rooms spacious, clean and modern.
We were given a tour of the resort upon arrival, staff were friendly.
Food was excellent.
The pool areas were spacious and very clean, I particularly liked the fact that the sun beds were spaced apart well, so it didn’t feel crowded.
The beach area was great, a very short walk from the hotel and the sun beds were very comfortable. Appreciated the ability to order from the pool or beach via the app, although ordering from the beach included an additional charge.
One of the few hotels I would come back to!

I recently stayed at Port Royal Rhodes in Greece with my girlfriend, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we could feel it was a premium, adults-only hotel that truly delivers on the promise of luxury and relaxation.
Our room was extremely spacious, featuring a very comfortable bed and excellent amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding – attentive, professional, and always with a warm touch that made us feel welcome.
The quality of both the restaurants and the drinks exceeded our expectations. Every meal felt like a carefully crafted experience, and we were impressed by the freshness and variety on offer. We also loved the special experiences available at the resort, such as the floating breakfast, a lovely beachside lunch, and an incredibly romantic dinner by the pool – perfect for couples looking to create lasting memories.
The private beach was another highlight, offering great conditions to relax by the sea, while the heated pool was absolutely stunning, both visually and in terms of comfort. The entire atmosphere of the hotel is calm, elegant, and ideal for those who want to unwind in style.
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed 🥰

Port Royal in Rhodes is the perfect destination for a premium, adults-only, all-inclusive getaway.
Our room was incredibly spacious, with a very comfortable bed and excellent amenities — everything you’d expect from a true 5-star experience.
The service throughout the resort was consistently high-quality: professional, friendly, and always attentive.
Both the food and drinks across all the restaurants and bars were of impressive quality — fresh ingredients, great variety, and well-presented dishes.
We especially enjoyed the special experiences offered by the hotel, like the floating breakfast, beachfront lunch, and a romantic dinner by the pool — all beautifully organized and memorable.
The private beach is clean, well-equipped, and ideal for relaxing. The main pool is stunning, with heated water and plenty of space to unwind.
The overall vibe of the resort is peaceful and luxurious — perfect for couples looking to relax and recharge.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-end, stress-free holiday in Greece!

We booked this hotel expecting a five-star luxury experience for our honeymoon, clearly stated at the time of booking. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment of this on arrival or during our stay not even a small gesture such as rose petals or a note, which felt like a missed opportunity for what should have been a special occasion.
The hotel itself is undeniably beautiful. The pool and grounds look exactly as they do in promotional photos and social media. However, unlike what is implied online, the pool closes at 7pm, meaning the much-advertised illuminated, romantic evening atmosphere simply doesn’t exist.
Check-in was slow, though a welcome drink was provided. Bar staff throughout the stay were excellent attentive, friendly, and professional. If visiting in August, be aware that many items are not included in the all-inclusive package. Even basic snacks such as poolside chips are charged extra, which felt unreasonable for a resort at this level.
The on-site restaurants were average at best and certainly not luxury. Staff often made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. I paid extra for a “carbonara in a cheese wheel,” which was prepared by a waitress who appeared unhappy to do so, and the dish itself was not a carbonara.
The marquee restaurant, which requires booking and looked promising, was a major disappointment. Our food arrived frozen. When we asked for it to be corrected, the waitress appeared visibly upset and, upon returning with a replacement, asked my wife to put her finger into the dish to check if it was hot enough an unacceptable and embarrassing experience.
The main restaurant food was consistently underwhelming. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, but almost everything was overcooked a recurring theme throughout the stay. Themed food nights raised expectations but followed the same pattern.
Dietary awareness was poor. There were no labels on desserts, and as my wife is pescatarian, we had to repeatedly ask whether gelatine was used. Each day it took around 30 minutes to get an answer, often from staff who either didn’t know or didn’t seem concerned.
The spa, which we discovered ourselves as no one informed us about it, was genuinely excellent and ended up being the best part of our holiday. Ironically, the best food we had was at a small Italian restaurant just outside the resort.
In summary, we paid a premium expecting luxury and attention to detail, particularly for our honeymoon, and found neither. Sadly, this was a major disappointment for what should have been a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

Fabulous holiday. The hotel was spotless and the gardens were beautiful. Loved the relaxing water features running through the grounds. Delightful sea view room and the hotel sat sympathetically with the landscape. Buffet style meals were tasty and very varied. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Calm and tranquil holiday. The beach was a let down but this is a volcanic island! We hope to return 😁
